The Hobby Quest is a model airplane academy which provides educational enrichment for children at all ages. Our fun and interactive, hands-on courses of building model airplanes are dedicated to stimulating the imagination and intellectual capacity of children while offering them tangible, take home results they can remember for a lifetime. Our programs and teaching methods at the aviation field are not found anywhere else in the world! The Hobby Quest have a great success as an after school enrichment program in over 200 schools, also in events, birthday parties, workshops and camps. We currently operate in 5 different branches and instruct over 7,000 students. Our students learn how to create and operate a variety of air models such as remote control planes, free flight planes, rockets, gliders, stunt kites, hot air balloons, etc. Throughout the program students learn how to read and evaluate construction plans and to utilize various hobby tools and resources that capture students curiosity and imaginations. In addition to building and flying of the airplanes, a.k.a. "the fun stuff", we also focus and integrate many areas of education into our program including: visual arts, aerodynamics, the metric system, drafting/plans, architecture, woodworking and much more.

The Hobby Quest views each of our partnerships as unique; we aim to adapt our business arrangement to fit your camps structure and price point. As part of the originality of our classes we specialize in tailoring our program to meet your camp needs, if its our instructors at your camp building with the kids or even providing your camp with our Do It Yourself kits and train your consultants to work with your campers on their own. Please feel free to contact us and we will help you work on a solution specifically catered to your situation.
